The clonal garden had a high incidence of witches broom disease which had not been controlled for four consecutive years. The number of infected vegetative shoots and flower cushions was recorded. The following categories were used: 0, >0=10, >10=20, >20=50, >50=100, >100. The 30 most promising clones out of the 180 tested are indicated.
