CAM B 12    Theobroma cacao

 Lockwood, G. & Gyamfi, M.M.O. (1979)
The CRIG cocoa germplasm collection with notes on codes used in the breeding programme at Tafo and elsewhere. Technical Bulletin, No. 10, Cocoa Research Institute, Tafo, Ghana. pp. 62.

Location: Cameroon.

Notes:  Bartley, 1993a [BAR93A]. Although Lockwood & Gyampfi, 1979a [LOC79A] refers to the plants being the same as SNK 12, those at Tafo are not the same as the SNK 12 distributed from Mayaguez and found in other places. The original SNK 12 described in the Cameroons is a violet Amelonado, which could be the same as the Tafo material but not the Mayaguez material.

09.09.98 Erronenous synonymy with SNK 12 removed (Bartley, 1998a [BAR98A]).
