Malaysia - Malaysian Cocoa Board/Department of Agriculture, Sabah Datafile: DIS_VSDS - Disease reaction to VSD Descriptors: Relative resistance/susceptibility to Vascular streak dieback Environment: Seedlings screened by being exposed to natural inoculum from surrounding heavily infected mature cacao for 9-14 months. Disease symptoms severity scored in a scale of 1-6. Sabah, Malaysia. Germplasm: Introduced cacao clones screened initially and the resistance genotypes crossed to produce local hybrids. Hybrids seedlings screened for resistance in the same way.
