Notes:  Seed taken from United Fruit Co.'s Tenguel plantation, Ecuador in 1930's.

Bartley, 1993a [BAR93A]. The seeds came from plantations which were contaminated with introduced material. Although the seed came from Nacional trees, the progeny produce all types including red fruits. Only the clones UF 705 bears some resemblance to a true Nacional.
