Cote d'Ivoire - CNRA Datafile: PROGENY_ Data on vigour and yield of the first cacao hybrids to be bred in the Ivory Coast have resulted in the general release of ten progenies which have continued to perform well in experimental plots and in village plantations. Crosses are of the type UPA x Trinitario and UPA x Amelonado. All produce high quality cocoa in terms of bean size and richness and quality of fat content.
