PJ 21    Theobroma cacao

 Bartley, B.G.D. (1993)
Notes on the meaning and origins of clone names. B.G.D Bartley. Personal Communications.

Collected by Soderholm.
Location: USDA Miami, United States.

Notes:  Probably a synonym for P [MEX].

Bartley, 1993a [BAR93A]. Soderholm received material of the clone 21 P [MEX] from two sources which appeared to be different. Therefore he named the material received from Guatemala 21 P(J) which was distributed from the quarantine stations as PJ 21. However, both types held in CEPEC appeared to be from the same clone.
